- Dr. Dominik Waßenhoven has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
- Privatdozentin Dr.' Susanne Schregel receives the Carl Erdmann Prize of the Association of German Historians for the best habilitation thesis of 2024/25. The title of the thesis is Intelligenz. A History of Distinction in Germany and Great Britain (1880-1990). Press release

- Prof. Dr. Karl Ubl has been elected Corresponding Fellow of the Medieval Academy of America.
- Prof. Dr. Werner Eck was awarded the Premio Internazionale Galileo Galilei for Italian History (History of the Roman Empire) by the University of Pisa in conjunction with the Rotary Clubs of Italy. Imperium Romanum) was awarded to Prof. Dr. Werner Eck.
