Our commitment against Harrassment, Bullying, Violence, Abuse of Power and Discrimination

We are aware of the importance and responsibility of creating an inclusive and respectful learning and working environment. We are therefore actively committed to the prevention of bullying and any form of abuse of power or discrimination.

The Department of History therefore expressly supports the initiative of the Dean of Studies of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, Prof. Michel, against bullying and cyberbullying.

Those affected can find support and advice from us and at the university.

What you can do:

  • Report incidents: If you observe an incident or are affected yourself, please contact us. The management of the subject group takes you and your concerns seriously and can be contacted regularly. Reports from students, lecturers and staff will of course be treated confidentially and pursued vigorously.
  • We encourage all students, lecturers and staff to support each other and to promote a positive atmosphere in which everyone feels safe and valued.

If you have any questions or need support, please do not hesitate to contact us.
